Synopsis

Liu Zhi, a lumberjack in the small town of Kiran, was arrested by the police for theft, but the kind old Liu saw that Liu Zhi’s impoverished home not only failed to catch him, but also gave him rice and oil. Liu Zhi felt guilty and chopped off his three fingers. Lao Liu asked someone to help him pick up his finger, and he couldn’t be treated because of the infection in the town.
