Synopsis

In 1945, Carmela, a lonely girl, yearns to win back the love of her parents, who are consumed by her older brother’s illness. When the family moves into an old country house, her solitude becomes unbearable—until she meets the spirit of a boy who died during the Mexican Revolution. Together, they uncover what their hearts have been missing and form an everlasting friendship. But fate will test their bond, and to remain together, they must face a heartbreaking sacrifice.
