Synopsis

Shao Wenhan, a small-town girl, carries her mother's lifelong hope: to escape the small town and start a new life in the big city by learning to play the pipa. But Wenhan, with the pipa in her arms, doesn't believe in her mother's dream. Amidst the struggles of both mother and daughter, she secretly strives to find a new path for herself...
