Synopsis

Set against the sweeping backdrop of China’s Inner Mongolian grasslands in the early 1990s, Impossible to Escape is a visceral crime-action thriller that pits relentless justice against ruthless lawlessness. Directed by Feng Baoning, the film follows veteran detective Zhang Xiao (played by Su Xin), a seasoned officer leading a task force to dismantle the brutal criminal empire of Guan Xiongfei (Du Yiheng), a merciless gangster terrorizing the region with audacious heists and savage violence.
