Synopsis

Emergency era, Budapest. A Sagittarius officer rings the doorbell of his former superior's widow in the middle of the night. He suspects that she is harbouring Jewish children. One day, Zsuzsa, who works in a suburban bakery, is visited by Death, but she manages to beg him for a second chance.
